Star Wars will remain with us forever, regardless of your fandom. The resulting changes will bring a new height and imagination to our wedding geekery! If you're a fan who loves Star Wars, you want a wedding every single day and you just want a fun, futuristic wedding. It would also be ok if Star Wars themed celebrations were favored. These themes are still chic and refined, however the trick is simply to be attentive to detail but to not feel like fanaticism. Please view our photos for inspiration.

How Do I Incorporate Star Wars Into My Wedding?

Sometimes small touches in your wedding theme or motif are the best way to make your day more special and unique. You can incorporate quotes from the movie into table numbers, include references in your wedding vows, or decorate your cake with Hans and Leia cake toppers. You can also create your spin on your dream Star Wars Wedding. The following list is provided as a resource of ideas to assist you with your brainstorming process.

How Much is a Star Wars wedding?

“In my mind, I thought I needed to marry a millionaire and have a big budget to make the dream come true! But nope..." an excerpt from Krystel Ciocon, when asked about her dream Star Wars Wedding.

Just like Krystel Ciocon and Earle Doudera, who had an epic Star Wars wedding within a budget of $5000, they had sacrificed some wedding stuff and worked with passionate people.

There is no limit to what Star Wars weddings can achieve. It only takes a vision, passion, and the right people to make it happen. For a starter, think of the budget you are willing to spend on your big day. Vision how you want your wedding will be and how it fits your account. Find your support group (vendors) with the same passion as you do to help you achieve your dream Star Wars wedding.

May the 4th Weddings!

May the fourth be with you! What does that mean? Is it some sort of holiday? Well, for Star Wars fans, May the Fourth is a special day. It’s a day to celebrate all things Star Wars. And what better way to celebrate than by watching your favorite Star Wars movies?

But why is May the Fourth such a special day for Star Wars fans? It comes from the classic pun on the franchise’s most famous line: “May the Fourth be with you.” Fans have been using it since at least 1979, and the date has grown into a full-blown holiday known as Star Wars Day. (Fun trivia for purists: the first film actually hit theaters on May 25, 1977.)

Every year on May the Fourth, fans get together to celebrate their love of all things Star Wars. They dress up as their favorite characters, host Star Wars-themed parties, and of course, watch the movies. Some fans even get together to build elaborate Star Wars sets or recreate famous scenes from the movies.

And the best thing of all, wedding bells! Weddings on May 4th are extremely popular among true fans. For a true fan dreaming of a May the 4th wedding, the date lands on a Saturday in 2030 and a Sunday in 2031, so those years are nothing but the best for a weekend celebration! Can’t wait that long? 2028’s Thursday makes for an unforgettable weekday affair.
