The venue sets the whole tone of a Star Wars wedding. Whether your galaxy far, far away looks like a misty Endor forest, a Tatooine desert, or an industrial hangar straight off a rebel base, these are the places that pull it off.

Where can I have a Star Wars Wedding?

Choosing a perfect venue for a perfect Star Wars wedding is one of the most exciting things to do for most couples. Some choose to relive their favorite scenes in their wedding location from the forest, to the brewery, to the desert. Your Star Wars wedding can be as epic as you wish them to be as you select one of these fantastic wedding destination ideas:

1. Enchantment Resort

This resort is situated in the middle of Boynton Canyon, which has towering red rocks that resemble desert landscapes on various Star Wars planets. Exchange your vows in the impressive outdoor views and move into one of their spacious ballrooms with vast canyon views for your Star Wars wedding reception.

2. Boston Public Library

Tucked in Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Public Library offers you a unique ambiance that makes you feel like you stepped into the Star Wars palace. Featuring arches, columns, fountains, and an upper balcony, the courtyard is an elegant setting for a wedding ceremony. The elegance continues indoors with sweeping marble staircases, soaring vaulted ceilings, and English and Italian architecture.

Head on to Denver, Colorado for the next unique Star Wars wedding destination. Kevin Taylor's Opera House features an opulent feeling from the Galactic Senate with its infinite rows of seating. In the Chambers Grant Salon, featuring a black ceiling designed to look like a starry sky, you can exchange vows on center stage and then enjoy an "evening under the stars."

4. Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel

You may prefer a chapel in the treetops in Bella Vista, Arkansas if you prefer the dense woodlands of Endor. There are crisscrossed arches in the latticework, reminiscent of Gothic cathedrals, that blend into the woods beyond and create an elegant treehouse atmosphere.

5. Curtiss Mansion

Featuring sand-colored walls and twinkling lights, Curtiss Mansion's courtyard evokes the atmosphere of Tatooine - the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker. It is perfectly nestled in Miami Springs, Florida.

Can you get married in Galaxy's Edge?

It is a 14-acre-themed area situated in the village of Black Spire Outpost, on the remote frontier planet of Batuu, and features attractions, shops, restaurants, and entertainment elements inspired by the Star Wars franchise, located in both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. While getting married at Disney's Galaxy Edge which features the Millennium Falcon in the background sounds like a superb idea, unfortunately, it is not yet up for grabs.

Take your imagination to the next level by renting other nearby wedding destinations like the Crystal Ballroom. They offer you the timeless elegance of their ballroom that can be transformed into the unique design of your Star Wars adventure. You can still head to Galaxy's Edge for an epic honeymoon day: build your own lightsabers at Savi's Workshop, share a drink at Oga's Cantina, and fly the Millennium Falcon together before dinner.

One update for anyone who read about it when it opened: Disney's Star Wars hotel, the Galactic Starcruiser, made the jump to lightspeed for good in September 2023. Plan on one of the nearby Disney resorts for your stay instead, and give Galaxy's Edge a full day of your honeymoon.
